ENGINES FOR ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

The activity of the conference centers and fairgrounds in Spain annually represents an aggregate economic impact of more than 19,000 million euros, confirming the role of events as engines for economic growth and generators of value for the different sectors and industries. This has been announced by the Association of Spanish Fairs (AFE) and the Association of Conference Centers of Spain (APCE), which have held their first joint congress at FYCMA (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga) on 6, 7 and July 8.

The thirty experts convened as speakers at the Malaga event have pointed to digitization and sustainability as the main levers of development. The joint activity of both organizations supports more than 180,000 direct and indirect jobs.
